​Aligned with the Vision of the Faculty of Arts at Benha University to achieve leadership and excellence in the humanities, the Department of Chinese Language strives to serve as a bridge for cultural and intellectual exchange between Egypt and China. We aspire to be a premier academic center for the study of the Chinese language, its literature, and its profound heritage.

​In today’s rapidly evolving world—characterized by accelerating cultural and economic interactions—mastering the Chinese language offers a broad window into global opportunities. Consequently, our Departmental Mission is to prepare graduates who possess the linguistic proficiency, cultural literacy, and professional competencies required to excel in both local and international labor markets.

​The Department firmly believes that language acquisition is inseparable from the understanding of people and society. Therefore, our academic curriculum provides integrated scientific content that bridges language, literature, translation, and culture. This is achieved through the utilization of modern pedagogical tools and active collaboration with Chinese universities and subject-matter experts.
