The competition is part of the University's efforts to improve the quality of research outputs and encourage faculty members to publish their research in international scientific journals.

The Vice President stated that a total of 594 research papers were submitted during this cycle across 13 faculties: Agriculture, Commerce, Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Physical Therapy, Science, Benha Engineering, Shoubra Engineering, Arts, Physical Education, Nursing, and Applied Arts.

Of the submitted papers, 294 were Q1 papers, representing 49.5% of the total submissions, demonstrating the quality of the University's research output. The number of Q2 papers reached 165, in addition to 70 Q3 papers and 38 Q4 papers.

This cycle also included one book and 10 book chapters published by international publishing houses. In the Citation Competition, based on researchers' Google Scholar profiles, a total of 157 faculty members participated.

Cases Subject to a Ban from University Research Support Programs

Applicants will be placed on the University's blacklist and prevented from receiving rewards under its research support programs in the following cases:

  2. The applicant submits inaccurate information or submits research papers for which financial rewards have already been received in previous cycles.

  3. The applicant submits a blank declaration or a declaration that does not include all participants in the research from within the University. A copy of the required declaration is attached at the end of the announcement, and applicants must comply with the attached declaration.

Important Notice
